DesignDotIT - Full-Stack Agency Platform & Custom CMS

DesignDotIT needed more than a traditional agency website. As a digital product studio selling web applications, AI, automation and design services, our own platform needed to demonstrate the same level of engineering we promise clients.

A template-based marketing site would not be enough.

The platform needed to support 15+ public-facing pages while giving the team complete control over services, pricing, portfolio projects, blog content, testimonials, leads, products and site settings without requiring code changes.

It also needed secure role-based access, database-driven content, lead management and a scalable architecture that could evolve alongside the agency.

The challenge was to bring all of this into one fast, maintainable platform while shipping the initial production version within six weeks.

We designed and built a custom full-stack platform from the ground up using Next.js 16, TypeScript and PostgreSQL.

Instead of hard-coding the agency's content into individual pages, we created a database-driven architecture with a custom administration system. Services, portfolio projects, blog posts, pricing tiers, testimonials, team members, products and other key content can all be managed directly from the dashboard.

The admin experience includes more than 30 management screens covering content, leads, pricing, products, purchases, team management and site settings.

Drizzle ORM provides type-safe database access, while Better Auth powers secure authentication with separate admin and member flows. The frontend uses modern Next.js architecture and server-side data fetching to keep the public experience fast and maintainable.

The platform is deployed on Vercel with continuous deployment, allowing production updates to move from the main branch to the live environment through a streamlined release workflow.

The result is one integrated system that functions as DesignDotIT's marketing website, content management platform, lead-generation engine and technical showcase.

The initial production platform was delivered in six weeks with more than 15 public-facing pages, 30+ admin management screens and a structured 12-table database architecture.

Content that previously would have required developer involvement can now be managed directly through the custom dashboard, including services, pricing, portfolio projects, blog posts, testimonials and other business-critical information.

The platform gives DesignDotIT one centralized system for managing its public presence while providing the flexibility to introduce new services, content and functionality as the agency grows.

More importantly, the finished product serves as a working demonstration of our full-stack capabilities. Prospective clients don't just read about what DesignDotIT can build, they are experiencing it while browsing the website.
